The customer was looking for a solution to replace its aging filtration and demineralization unit, which consumed too many chemicals during regeneration. As the customer didn’t have a very long-term view, he contacted AQUAPROX and its partner to consider an alternative solution.

AQUAPROX Mobile Services met the customer’s requirements by renting mobile containerized units under a long-term contract, thus avoiding the need for investment and consolidating rental costs into Opex. The project consists of Ultrafiltration and a 50 to 100 m3/h osmosis water production unit, all installed and commissioned within a short timeframe.
This fully automated, remote-controlled reverse osmosis solution guarantees continuity of process water production service without the need for additional human intervention. The osmosis unit produces high-quality reverse osmosis water in double-pass mode at 50 m3/h and in single-pass mode at up to 100 m3/h. This flexible, compact solution offers customers all the peace of mind and technical support they need, allowing them to focus fully to their core business of steel production.
